Paul & Silas (At Midnight)

Verse 1
       E
And at midnight
A2/E E
Paul and Silas prayed inside that prison
E A2/C#
Singing hymns to God the prisoners listened
                                     E E
Little did they know what would come next
         E
All of a sudden
                                 E
The earth began to quake and the foundation
        F#m7 E/G#
Of that jail began to shake
                A
The doors flung open
    F#m E E
The chains of all the prisoners came loose
Pre-Chorus 1
      B A2
Don’t tell me what praise cannot do
    E/G# A2
The sound of our faith makes the mountains move
Chorus 1
|A2 / E / | C#m7 B
I’m not waiting til the morning
|A2 / E / | C#m7 B
I will worship You right now
|A2 / E / | C#m7 B
I’m not waiting til the morning

Verse 2
        E
In your midnight
         Esus E
When the thoughts are building up just like a prison
F#m7 E/G# A2
Don’t forget your song, the Father’s listening
   F#m7 E Esus
To every melody and every word
        E
This is breakthrough
Esus E
What if God is doing something brand new
F#m7 E/G# A2
There are other people coming with you
    F#m7 E E
And freedom is the door we’re walking through
Pre-Chorus 2
      B A2
Don’t tell me what praise cannot do
    E/G# A2
The sound of our faith makes the mountains move
    B/D# A2
Let build him a hope with our praise
    E/G# A2 A2
For nothing can hold back the Father's grace
