VERSE 1

Little seed, little seed

Goes into the ground

Buried deep, buried deep

No light to be found

But underneath, underneath

You’ll be breakin' open

Even when we can’t see

Miracles are growing

VERSE 2

Little seed, little seed

You might feel afraid

Buried deep, buried deep

But I think that you’re brave

'Cause underneath, underneath

Your breaking makes a way

For new life to grow up green

And strong into the day
CHORUS

'Cause the kingdom of heaven’s like a seed
(It’s like a seed)

It may seem small, but it grows up tall into a tree
(Into a tree)

And the birds find their shelter in it’s branch-es

So help us plant seeds of kindness and imag- ine

How they’ll grow up

How they’ll show the world the love of God

VERSE 3

Little seed, little seed

Just a little longer

Soon you’ll see, soon you’ll see

Light will make you stronger

Buried deep, buried deep

The dark is not the end

Soon you’ll stretch your little arms

Toward sunshine once again
REPEAT CHORUS

VERSE 4

Little seed, little seed

Now you are a flower

And you sing, and you sing

Of beauty every hour

Little seed, little seed

You show us the way

How breaking turns to blooming

Like the night turns into day
REPEAT CHORUS
